How this assessment handles your data
This page explains what Basefy stores when you use the AI Maturity Assessment, how analytics works, and how to revisit your cookie choice. The assessment is designed to stay usable even if you choose essential-only storage.
Essential storage
Essential browser storage keeps your assessment session active, remembers progress between questions, and helps restore an unfinished assessment if you refresh the page before completion.
- Session identifiers and expiry timestamps keep your in-progress assessment usable.
- Question progress is stored locally so you can continue after a refresh.
- These items are required for the app to generate and unlock your results.
Analytics cookies
Basefy uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand page views, navigation patterns, useful flows, and session behavior. Advertising features are not enabled.
- `Accept analytics` enables Google Analytics 4 measurement and Microsoft Clarity session recording while keeping ad-related storage denied.
- `Use essential only` keeps the assessment functional and disables future GA4 and Clarity collection from this app.
- Individual assessment answers, session identifiers, and submitted email addresses are not sent in analytics event payloads, and sensitive profile and results surfaces stay masked in Clarity.
Profile data and results
Required profile fields are collected only when you unlock results. Processing consent is required for results delivery, while product-update consent is optional and separate from cookie choices.
- Benchmark comparisons are shown only when the anonymized cohort reaches at least 30 organizations.
- Individual responses are not exposed in public benchmark views.
- Optional marketing consent controls product emails only and does not change cookie settings.
Managing your choice
You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer on any public page to switch between analytics and essential-only storage.
- For privacy questions or support, contact the Basefy team through your configured project channels.
